Faulty on arrival
If your item is faulty on arrival, you have 24 hours to inform us of the fault. Business customers must inform us within 72 Hrs . Items must be returned in their original packaging including all accessories, manuals and packaging. Once your item has been received, our test engineer will test it and we will issue a replacement or a full refund if the item cannot be repaired or replaced. If the item is faulty we will reimburse reasonable delivery cost.
Due to the nature of products we sell, some products might require additional configuration or require you to follow instructions laid out by the manufacturer. Sometimes you may require addition technical help, we encourage all our customers to contact manufacturers technical help line. Damaged in transit
If you receive an item from us that is damaged, you must inform us within 24 Hrs of receipt. If the package is visibly damaged, please ensure you sign the courier slip for the package as damaged. Business customers must inform us within 48 hours of any damaged orders. Items must be returned in their original condition including all accessories, manuals and packaging. Once your damaged item has been received, we will issue a replacement or a full refund to you and reimburse reasonable delivery costs.
Goods faulty in warranty period
If any of the goods you have purchased from us develop a fault within their warranty period, but it has been over 28 days since you purchased the item, you are entitled to a in-warranty repair. Most manufacturers will provide direct support lines and will handle the repair or replacement of the product directly. We therefore recommend you to contact the manufacturer directly. If contacting us about faulty items outside the 28 days of purchase, Please ensure you have a Fault Reference number obtained from the manufacturer.
Refurbished goods
Refurbished items carry a 90 days warranty from the date of delivery. Any claims after this period will not be accepted.
Returning an unwanted item
You may return any item up to 7 days starting from the date of delivery. Any items that are sealed packed must remain unopened; any items with which a service subscription starts upon use are also non-returnable once you have started use. We will process your refund within 30 days.
All return delivery costs are payable by the customer unless your order is faulty or if the order was sent to you as a result of our error.
How we test returned items
All returns to Pacetech are tested by our own test engineer in accordance with the procedures laid out by the manufacturer or supplier. If a returned item is found not to be faulty, or has been tampered in anyway, your warranty is not valid. We will return the item to you at your cost. You will be charged the same postage costs you paid originally.
We advise you to check computer related gadgets or components on multiple machines before returning as we will not refund postage for items that we find to be in good working order upon its return.
We are not responsible for incompatibilities caused by DVD players that have been modified to disable regional encoding or unauthorised modifications to any hardware. Ensure you follow the manufacturers operational instructions. We do not cover defects in goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the manufacturer, failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the manufacturer's approval.
How to make a return request
